Notting hill carnival?

As it is both the sunday 26th and monday 27th, I was just wondering which day was the busiest?Or more eventfull?

Sunday is childrens day and Monday is more for adults.  Sunday involves small children in the parade with their costumes and instruments, its very family orientated with lots to do and see whereas Monday is much more of a big party!  Either day is wonderful there's plenty to keep you entertained, fed and watered!  You can't beat the atmosphere of carnival, even in the rain!

Really both are becoming more renown and thus populated. The atmosphere is gradually getting tainted,if that is the correct word, by the commercial influences.

The evenings have a more intimate atmosphere and communal spirit. Though the whole package is a must and should be in the same folder as getting to go to Glastonbury for example.

Monday is always the busiest and there are usually a few more floats that you can follow. It's a good day and everyone is happy and in good spirits
