Nottingham: Owners’ Bonus Series (Heat 2) – Preview
The Nottingham greyhound racing track is going to host Owners’ Bonus Series – Heat 2 today, February 7. The Grade A4 race on 500m flat course will start at 11:03. The total prize money for the event is £100.
The following runners are going to show what it takes to win the heat:
1: Farloe Tico
2: Autumn Fusion
3: Stouke Rascal
4: Woodland Flojo
5: Capla Mac
6: Fabulous Magic
Here we present a brief overview of the six in a bid to make predictions about the results of the competition. This analysis will be interesting for the general race lovers, and helpful for the bookmakers to stake their money meticulously.
Farloe Tico
Trained by P Harnden, the black dog won his last race in November, 2011. Since July 2011, the hound has displayed a poor show, stringing together a long losing streak. The son of Hondo Black, out of Farloe Reserve has won just nine races in his long
career which began in July, 2008. He has been very inconsistent, and unimpressive throughout his career. It shows that he is not going to thrive tonight at all.
Autumn Fusion
The A Stone-trained dog has mustered just one victory in last six months. This long losing streak has shattered his confidence. Overall, the fawn dog has 13 triumphs to his credit. However, he strung together a hat-trick in July-August, 2010. The veteran
runner’s recent stats depict that he will not be able to compete well for the top spot today.
 Stouke Rascal
Since September, 2011, the trainee of L Tuffin has won just one race. Like Autumn Fusion, the fawn b***h is also enduring a severe lean patch. Despite being the 2 to 1 favourite in her second last race, she finished fifth. However, the daughter of
Big Daddy Cool, out of Prawn Cocktail has been somewhat consistent in the early days of her career.
With 13 victories to her name, this hound does not seem to be in a position to do well in today’s race, but she has potential to cause an upset. She will surely struggle for the top slot.
Woodland Flojo
Since the dawn of the calendar year, the black b***h has registered two marvellous wins. Trained by V Green, the five-year-old runner has passed through many lean patches in her career which commenced in January, 2009. However, she has been fairly
consistent since the last six months. The daughter of Fire Height Dan, out of Champagne Cindy has 80 percent chances to win the Heat.
Capla Mac
The brindle dog’s last victory, which came after a series of defeats, worked to boost up his confidence to a great extent. The trainee of E Saville has not been a consistent performer, but most of the time in his career he has won two races in a row.
He also earned a hat-trick in July, 2010. He was the 5 to 2 favourite in his last race.
The son of Holborn Major, out of Mullan Lady has not been doing well since the last four months. However, his chances to win cannot be ruled out. He will definitely unleash competitive force, and achieve one of the top two positions.
Fabulous Magic
Trained by L Tuffin, the black b***h finished 1st in her second last race on January 24. It helped her regain lost momentum to some extent. Prior to this, she won a race in December, 2011.

The four-year-old runner has won 15 races in total since her debut in May, 2009. The b***h has not been a favourite since October, 2011.

 Conclusion
After the above discussion, we conclude that only two hounds, Stouke Rascal and Woodland Flojo, possess enough potential to fight for victory. There will be a fierce battle between the two tonight, but Woodland Flojo has more chances to thrive. Good
luck to all the six.
