Nottingham Train prices !!?

Question

The earlier this week i was in brighton

and i purchased a ticket -all day ticket from brighton to london

and from that i could use the undergroud aswell

now how would i go about getting a similar ticket for nottingham

cause im not sure

buy one at the train station. or online at www.nationalrail.co.uk

The nearest thing I could find is an East Midlands Day Ranger.  This card is for all over the East Midlands on the train.  See link in sources.

The ticket you bought in Brighton was a Travelcard, it allows travel on most public transport in London-it only exists for London and cannot be bought for any other city in the UK. There are a small number of cities that have a similar schemes like Glasgow and Manchester but Nottingham is not one of them.
