Nottinghamshire ease to a six-wicket win over Yorkshire: Friends Life Twenty20

The hosts’ skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Gale-c1039, scored a terrific half-century for his side, guiding them to 152 runs at the end of their allotted 20 overs. His score proved to be the highest of the match, but the effort went in vain, as the match was won by Nottinghamshire
easily in the end.
In reply, the visitors were given a blistering start by their opening batsman, Tamim Iqbal, who scored 47. His effort proved to be match winning for Nottinghamshire, as the team won the match by six wickets.

Gale didn’t lose his focus from the game and continued to bat well. He ended up with 62 runs from 55 deliveries with the help of five furs and one massive six. The stylish opener would have liked to bat until the end, but gave his wicket away in the 17th
over of the innings.
Yorkshire’s wicketkeeper batsman, Jonny Bairstow, clobbered 41 runs from 26 balls towards the end of the innings and remained unbeaten, guiding his side’s total above 150.
Graeme White bowled well for Nottinghamshire, picking up one wicket for 23 runs in his four-over spell.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Alex-Hales-c985 gave a flying start to Nottinghamshire, collecting 41 runs for the opening wicket. The latter got out after scoring 24 runs off 19 balls, striking four boundaries.
Rikki Wessels gave solid support to Tamim and the pair put together 61 runs for the second wicket partnership. Both players got out on the same total after scoring 27 and 47 respectively.
Wicketkeeper batsman, Chris Read and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Scott-Liam-Elstone-c89038 collected 26 and 21 in their respective outings, guiding Nottinghamshire to an easy win in the end.
Iain Wardlaw took two wickets for 17 runs for Yorkshire, but failed to win the match for the hosts.
