The right-arm fast-medium bowler, Charles Edward Shreck, who plays for Nottinghamshire, has now been given a release in the final year of his contract with Nottingham, to make an agreement with Kent.

The 33-year-old medium-pacer found it difficult to make his place in the playing XI more often, which compelled him to sign a contract with Kent. However, he will make his last appearance in the final
match of the event against Sussex at Trent Bridge next week. He has played 82 first-class games for Nottingham and secured 290 wickets.

Newell.

"He has foregone a benefit year to make this move and that shows his desire to play regular first team cricket which we couldn't guarantee given the depth we have in our squad,”
he added.

Shreck had tested many Counties before making his debut for Nottingham in 2003. He enjoyed epochs of noteworthy achievements by securing over fifty wickets in the 2006 season for
the first time ever, which includes a hat-trick against Middlesex at Lord’s and was named Nottinghamshire’s Man of the Year in 2006 and 2008.

On the other hand, Harry Gurney has already signed a contract with Nottinghamshire while Luke Fletcher and Andre Adams renewed their contracts with Nottingham recently. Besides

He said that his only motivation for leaving the side was to find a regular place in the playing XI, because he cannot live without cricket. He accepted that Trent Bridge is a wonderful
place and Nottingham has given him the opportunity to play First-class cricket after a delayed start.
