Nadal, and Swiss Maestro, Roger Federer. World No.2, Nadal, won $10.1 million last year and topped the list with the maximum prize money which was previously being ruled by the legendary tennis icon from Switzerland, Roger Federer, who made the maximum prize
money in 2007.
Novak Djokovic is an exciting tennis icon from Serbia and in his short reign of just over a year, he has surpassed several landmarks and is holding firm on to that world number one spot at the moment. His outstanding performances
on the pitch and off the pitch (mocking players) are loved by tennis fanatics all over the globe. He ends up this year with an emphatic run of form having triumphed in 70 out of 76 matches in all forms of the game.
World number one has clinched 10 titles this year including three major Grand Slam titles. Recently it was very disappointing to see the Serbian lose on the world’s most elitist platform, O2 Arena in London but he was suffering

Winning 10 titles in a single year earned Djokovic another $1.6 million bonus prize money that helped him to take his total to $12.6 million in 2011. Three Grand Slam titles prize money were followed by overwhelming five ATP World
Tour Masters 1000 triumphs that were good enough to surpass Serbian tennis ace to add another record to his tally.
He also surpassed former world number one, Andre Agassi, in the overall career total prize money of and sits firm at the third spot. Agassi won $31.1 million in his professional tennis career. Djokovic is now the fourth highest
prize money winner with Agassi slipping to the fifth spot.
Roger Federer is on the top of the list with splendid $67.4 million total prize money. This year he earned around $6,369,576 and his collection is still growing. Spanish number one, Rafael Nadal, was very impressive this year with
a major Grand Slam title at French Open. He gathered around $7,668,214 to take his total to $45 million and is the second highest prize money winner. Pete Sampras in the third player with $43.2 million total prize money and now Djokovic join in at the fourth
place.
