Novak Djokovic imitates Nadal and Sharapova at Fiorello Show in Italy – Tennis News
Reigning World No.1, Novak Djokovic of Serbia has had a scintillating year at court, winning 64 of his 68 matches and clinching three of four major Grand Slam titles including US Open, Wimbledon and Australian Open. But recently
he has been suffering from a chronic shoulder injury and didn’t played Shanghai Masters and retired from Paris Masters last week due to same issues.
He has been finding it pretty hard at courts but his off-court performances are much more fascinating and recently he featured in a ‘The Fiorello Show’ and performed some of his favourite stunts, imitating World No.2, Rafael Nadal,
and World No.4, Maria Sharapova in his typical exciting fashion.
Roger Federer was celebrating his Paris glory while his arch rival was mesmerizing the Italian crowd with his performance on stage show. He was dressed in tuxedo with his favour tennis sneakers on; he joined hands with the show
anchor, Fiorello, and delighted the crowd with his supreme copy-cat performance of Nadal and Sharapova.
He handed over his singed T-Shirt, wore at US Open final, to the famous Italian TV show anchor, Fiorello. The three minute on-stage tennis drama was loved by everyone in the arena. He has done this before on several occasions but
every time he does it, he moves one step ahead of his last performance including some more gestures of his tennis colleagues.
Djokovic was seen in his humorous form on his World No.1 crowning ceremony where he imitated one of the most mesmerizing character and Women World No.4, Maria Sharapova at stage which was followed by Sharapova’s attendance as well.
He is a tremendous talent as a player but his imitating skills are not far from perfect.
Serbian World No.1 has been suffering from shoulder injury for a long time now and it’s recurring in nature because as soon as he hit the courts and resumes tennis, his shoulder is hurt once again. It’s been long time that his
fans have seen him in his prolific form and they are eagerly waiting for his ecstatic return. ATP World Tour Finals is the last championship left for the year and everyone is eyeing the Serbian to make a remarkable comeback and fascinate the crowd with his
commanding tennis play.
In his retirement press conference at Paris, he stated that he will make a return to tennis arenas in season-end finale and his fans prays that his shoulder doesn’t get hurt again and deprive them of terrific tennis for the third
time in succession.
