Novel called the prince that was a influence on john lennon??..daria link here to how i found it?

i was watching a daria episode on youtube and found out about a book she was reading call 'the prince'' in how it was a big influence to john lennon..i'm a big fan of john lennon and i would want a chance to read..though when i went searching for it..i couldn't find anything and came across the book ''the princess'' so i may have heard wrong. i have the link to a fragment of the episode here

  1. The only book I know of titled The Prince is Machiavelli's book published in 1532. It is not what I would consider a novel.I think your clip is referring to Vladimir Lenin, a Russian revolutionary, not John Lennon the musician. I only guess that due to the characters talking about Stalin too. The Prince was written during the Renaissance. Machiavelli's ideas about power and politics were quite revolutionary at the time.
