I wanted to send someone a file I made for them, it was titled "index.html" for their website.

Is there a way I can dig my old source code out of my cache?

or does anyone know if freewebs has a trashcan function of some kind?

  1. If that doesnt work out, you can email freewebs and ask them to send you a copy of the index file and give them the date you want them to send through - it may take a while, but usually works, if they are nice they will do it for free!!

  2. I hope the above answers will solve your problem...

But didn't you develop your website on YOUR computer, before sending it to freewebs???  You should have a copy!

If not, take it as a hard learnt lesson: keep a copy of your whole website on YOUR machine (and on a CD!)

  3. I think freewebs may have a backup system. If not, if your website comes up on google, search it now, but insted of clicking on it, click on the "catched" link underneith, then save this webpage to your HD, then re-upload

I hope this helps you out

    Take it easy mate
