  1. Actually I think that Australia is probably better than Spain or Greece. And although the USA team has all the NBA superstars, they're still never as good as they should be because all the players are used to being the go-to guy on their team and so going to a team with tons of other excellent players is a BIG change for them. Plus most other teams play year-round together, and the USA team does not.

  2. Our days of dominance in basketball have been over for a while.   We will never have a team like we did for the original dream team as that team had 10 of the top 50 players to ever play the game.   Furthermore, they play a much more technically sound game of basketball overseas than we do.  Since basketball is a team sport, this negates to some degree our athletic superiority.  Finally, they know our players quite well while we hardly know theirs unless they play in the NBA.

  3. pray to God

  4. Keeping in mind that this is only an exhibition game and Coach K was likely doing a few experiments, I'm not all that worried. There was quite a lot of sloppy play by the USA, but that can be fixed by a little focus and motivation. Give Australia a little credit too. They played well considering Bogut was out.

  5. i know in the first two games.

they play more as a team but now Kobe and Melo they starting hogging the ball and shoot the 3 and then miss.

  6. They are in trouble, and just as worried as you. I mean, Kobe and Lebron are both forcing shots. They seem to be forgetting that there are other players in the team who can score, and rather, they can spread the floor by sharing.

All the fans say Kobe / Lebron will carry them. Looking at their performance so far, no they aren't. This isn't the NBA, where there is only 1-3 stars on the team to watch out for, these are international players, and the best of the world. Not to mention also, they lack strong players that will dominate the post, relying too heavily on the fact that Europe will bring in perimeter players.

  7. They should win.

  8. they will be ok dwade and melo wont let that happen

  9. don't worry , they will be fine...

  10. I hate to see them "loss" to the temptations of bad grammars.

    Hahaha.

  11. argentinians should be more worried

they lost the last 3 games they played.

and there are the olimpics champions

    usa will be ok

  12. don't worry because i'm more than sure that we'll win the gold medal.our last three matches were somehow not very entertaining 'cause coach K didn't want ours players to injury or to be too much tired.our most competitive opponents are Argentinians,Spain,Australia and Greece.Anyway we'll be fine, our team is gonna do great things.

  13. I'm sure the gymnastics team has got it covered.

*Rooting for the USA Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team & Paul Hamm*

  14. It shows winning the gold medal isn't easy.  Even for some hardcore tough guys.  Basketball takes more than muscles it takes brains.  Do they have what it takes?  Maybe.

  15. dont worry, there just getting a bit tired, so they are just slacking to get some rest.

  16. i dont think kobe and lebron will let that happen

  17. I'm not worried about the US because of the margin of victory.  The pacing of the game can influence that to a degree and since the US scored "only" 87 points, Coach K may have told the team to slow the game down a little.  (I didn't see the highlights or box score, but this is a reasonable assumption)

The biggest worries to this team are acting stuck up, and injuries to big guys, rather than how much they can blow out a team by, because the latter is probably due to the US running up the score since athleticism is their biggest strength on this team.
