Which name is prettiest, or which do you simply like more, for whatever reason...?

- Xanthe (ZAN-thee)

- Sayuri (SAH-yu-ree)

Thank you!

  1. Hey, interesting names.

Of the two..i like Xanthe better...but your daughter is going to have to tell people how to say and spell her name ALL the time.

  2. what nationality are the names?

  3. Second one.

  4. none of the above.

  5. I dont like either one, I'm sure that you picked them for a reason but they look like names of Medicine to me. They dont strike me as pretty girl names. Sorry.

  6. I am not a fan of either, but if I had to pick I would say Sayuri

  7. I honestly...dislike those two months. SAyuri isn't too bad, maybe you would like : Suri instead.. (sirr-eee)

  8. Xanthe is prettier sounding

  9. ugh..no i dont like either..

    sorry im sure you must

  10. Those are two very original names and let me tell you this from personal experience. I really don't mean to be rude but the thing is, on first day of school, when the teacher goes down the list and stops for like 5 hours before she figures out how to pronounce it, and usually does so wrong, believe me you don't want an original name. It may be absolutely gorgeous but it's just not fun. There's a teacher that really freaks me out and I've never had the gut to correct her so I never have, believe me it's annoying. I really think those are beautiful names though.

  11. I agree with the above posts. These names are way too out of the box for me. What do you think about keeping them as middle names and giving the baby a more traditional first name? No one will be able to pronounce Zanthe or Sayuri on the first day of school.

  12. not a fan of either but since u asked i would vote for the second one

  13. There's no way to choose between those two.  They're both...just not good for me.  Also, I keep wanting to pronounce the second one sah-YU-ree.

  14. I am sorry I don't like them either.

  15. none

  16. I think they both sound weird.Try them as a middle name maybe.

  17. Sorry, but I don't care for them either :(
