  1. Tell them you will become an early drinker and start smoking all the other kids are doing it. thats the excuss my mom gave me when i asked why not put my bothers in private school she said they would end up smoking and drinking ha ha hope this helps!

  2. Arguments?  If you have to argue to continue to homeschool it makes me wonder why you might be changing from one to the other to begin with.

I have many good points for home-schooling.  And I'll be happy to tell them to you but I need more information.

Are you a diligent learner?  Do you spend the proper amount of time doing your work?  If you have your math skills mastered and can work in the proper level of arithmetic and are willing to complete a full lesson with a view toward 100% accuracy then I would say you should continue to home-school.  If you can write a convincing essay and use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation ---- and if you actually DO the writing every single day then I would say you should continue to home-school.  And furthermore if you are willing to read for a minimum of 2 hours and up to 4 hours per day -- and are in reality really reading for this amount of time then I will say to continue home-education.  But IF you are not doing the work and not proving yourself to be a diligent student then you truly may need to be somewhere else with other people holding you accountable.  Are you self-motivated?  Are you pleasant to be around?  Do your parents need to kick-yer-

behind to get you moving every day? Or do you naturally put in 5 to 6 hours of honest study every day?  Do you comply with family rules and do you get your chores done in a reasonable amount of time?

You must prove to yourself and to your parents that you are willing to do the work that it takes to get an education.

  3. tell them that kids who are home schooled are almost always smarter than the kids that go to public school and thats a fact

  4. i have been going to the same private school all of my life ecept for 4th adn 5th grade and i am in the 8th grade now 4th and 5th i was gomeschooled and i loved it my mom says when i go into 9th grade next year she is going to homeschool me again and i am really glad about it i hate where i am going now. homeschooling can really give you flexibility about your schedule.if your are doing bad in homeschoolign your parents amy think that a privae school amy give you the discipline that you need to do better. try to really work hard in your studies and make sure you have some freinds or something. your parents may think outting you in private school may get you more freinds or something

  5. Tell them that youll feel better if theyre teaching oyu. Tell them they wont get embarassed ever, and tell them that youd learn more from them than a teacher, that they can explain it clearer

  6. You need to explain why the change is being made in the first place.

  7. I'd start by asking your parents why they prefer a private school. Maybe you're at a point where they don't feel they can give you the education you deserve. I know I couldn't have kept up with my daughter when it came to high school math!! You might ask your parents to take you on a tour of the school so you can check it out. Maybe it will be even better than homeschool! Why not ask your parents if they will consider returning to homeschool if the private school isn't as good? Don't be afraid to give it a try...you might really like it!!!
