  1. Some do most guys just want a nice personality, a good rack and someone who enjoy's s*x and of course the less they nag the better.

  2. Yes, I think men look at the career and education of the women they date.  I think they do it a little differently though.  I don't think men look toward earning potential or financial security.  I think they want an intelligent woman who is capable of taking care of herself and being his intellectual equal.  Of course it will vary from man to man.  Some just want looks.  Some are more interested in a certain personality.  I think normally though men don't go out saying I want a woman with X, Y and Z.  They just get taken by some charms that they aren't even aware of.

  3. Well, women used to care about their man's employmentt because they were expecting to live off his income and raise a family off it as well.  Now-a-days, some men make the same plans - so if a woman meets a man who is really checking out her income level and future income potential, she can expect he is wanting to live off her.

But any couple needs to look at income expectations and drive to succeed in their respective careers when deciding if the relationship should move to the next level - like even moving in or being exclusive - because miss-matched drives make for unhappy marriages.  A driven woman and a laid-back man or a driven man and a laid-back woman can be happy together...sometimes.  But for many couples, if one of them is out trying to climb the corporate ladder and the other one intermitently employed or works in a minimum wage job...that is normally trouble in the long run.  The driven person sees the laid-back partner as being a slacker or the laid-back person thinks the driven partner is cold and distant.

  4. Women consider a man's career stability because a man with a solid job and career prospects will make a better provider for a family. A man who considers a woman's career may be looking for shared interests, or may respect her more for it. But there are people of both genders out their who are looking for a meal ticket, talentless people who plan on marrying their way to the top. Kind of like John McCain, who dumped his first wife when he found a better deal.
