I know she sued Bush for placing polar bears on the endangered list because it would stop drilling in Alaska.

I know she and McCain have only met twice before he asked her to be his VP.

It seems that we all pretty much know about the rest of the candidates, but not much about Governor Palin.

We are out of work, at war, in debt to other countries, in an energy crisis, being poisoned by imported products, plus in the last month as I shopped I tried to buy local products but found very little  "made in the US".

Our "well known" politicians are why we are in this predicament. They put us here and they will not change. They are too comfortable.

An unknown Governor from Alaska may be just what this country needs!  She needs to make a name for herself and the best way to do that is to do some GOOD for this country.

Stephen S is mistaken is his assertion of Palin's experience.  Sarah Palin was never Lt. Governor of Alaska.  She ran for the office in 2002, but lost in the Republican primary.  I think it's important to be accurate and truthful here.

Sarah Palin is no baracuda.  She is more defined as powder puff wanna be with no real skill or intelligence.  As one other individual pointed out and is all in the news media...she does not know what the VP is supposed to do on a day to day basis.  Sarah Palin may have taken on some corrupt folks in the Republican party in Alaska (which is telling in and of itself - Republicans are corrupt).  But, she does not have the strength or intelligence to run this country if she were one heartbeat away from the Presidency.  This is a serious issue, people....stop being so stupid and learn to identify the issues.  This is an obvious manipulation by the Republican party to play on the divisiveness that took place between Obama and Clinton supporters.  However, Clinton supporters are already stating that they are not likely to vote for McCain/Palin (Mr. Magoo and Clueless) because Palin (Clueless) is against women's rights.

I think people are overreacting to her question of "What does the VP actually do?"  There are many people who don't know the answer to that question.  Essentially, they don't do much except preside over the Senate and attend events with other dignitaries.  I think what she meant was "What does the VP actually DO?" and she realized what she was saying.  She knows that they really don't do all that much.

And to answer the poster's question:  she is gonna Chick Norris the h**l out of the good old boys!
