Yes, some people are very insecure!

I'm on cusp, Libra/Scorpio ( 20-Oct ).. Both my sun sign and rising sign are Libra... And YES , I'm proud to be a cuspian and I would never choose another sign..

My friend did once, she lied and said she was a gemini to make her seem nicer but then she told the lad she was lying to that her birthday was in december so it didn't work out so well

I'm sure there are many reasons why someone might lie about their sign....Haha, but just like lying about anything else, they're only fooling themselves.

Besides, astrology is more of a guideline. It's not a rule on who is the most good looking, or who is better than everyone else. It's more like a forecast that can tell you a bit more about yourself and your inner drives and emotions. Ultimately, how you choose to act is what others see, regardless of your signs. Free will is always in play.

Sure the ascendant may determine some of your looks and characteristics, but all in all, you look like the genes you were given. The way you carry yourself and choose to project yourself shows through with the Asc., but I don't believe that you can assume that any rising sign is more attractive than another.

Haha....Anyway, you can't really lie about things like that to people you know, and if people lie about it over the internet, who cares?

Actually, I have a couple friends who do this, LMAO. I don't know why. I guess Scorpio is supposed to be one of the most sexual signs, so sometimes when we go out to lounges or clubs, if some lecherous man comes over and asks the generic question like "Baby, what's your sign?" they say Scorpio even though their birthdays are in summer. I don't get it, but trust me this isn't the ony thing they lie about when we're out so it just adds to the hilarity.
