I have a Bose 321 system hooked to my Hitachi TV...changed cable companies...when the cable person changed out my DVR to theirs the sound did not work at all..managed to get the TV internal speakers going..have been unable to use the Bose. Does that have to be programmed in the new cable company's remote or what? Somebody..please help me so I don't have to call the Bose tech...too expensive.

  1. Most likely the last cable guy wired your sound inputs wrong. It is not that difficult. Look on the back of the new cable box for audio out. There should be a red and a white outlet (jack). You should have an audio cable the connects both red and white to your tv. Make sure that they are plugged in, and that the red and white are in their correct jacks.

  2. It sounds like the best thing to do would be to call Bose... but first make sure they are hooked up correctly

  3. IM NOT SURE YOU SHOULD CALL THE PLACE YOU GOT IT FROM OR THE 1800 NUMBER FOR TECH SUPPORT THEY CAN REPLACE IT FREE GOOD LUCK!

    FIND THE NUMBER FROM YELLOWPAGES.COM

  4. He probably didn't hook up the Cable box digital output to the 321. If he didn't touch the cables connected to the 321 system look for a loose cable and connect it to the cable box's digital output. The 321 needs a feed from either the Cable box (better) or the TV output (inferior) to play television.
