    oh hahahhahahhhaha

    sorry

  2. What do you think?!!

I would be very surprised if they did.

  3. Alana, I recently saw a report, on TV, that claims food prices are getting ready to soar even higher! They said that because of the prices of fuel, the price of food was going to rise steadily. Even though the fuel prices have dropped a bit, it is not enough and the food prices are poised to soar! Methinks I will become a vegetarian because I can grow the veggies by me own little onesy! But then, I do like bacon or ham in my beans and greens.

    I am NOT chatting!

  4. we'll, overall no, If fuel prices would stay down for a long stretch, then it would be transfered as savings eventully to the retailers, but here's the problem, who's going to be the watchdog determining if the supermarkets are extending the savings to the consumer after their cost have dropped ? it would take a long time, and compitition to keep prices down.

  5. Oh, yes. For sure. Excuse me, my nose is getting longer.

  6. In a word - NO. We heat by LPG(Liquid Petroleum Gas) which is a by product of the oil industry and it has gone up every time there has been an increase of car fuel but we have never, ever in 15 years had it come down in price.

Once they put it up that's it. It will be the same with the supermarkets. They will figure we are used to paying more and will leave it at that.

  7. Nice thought but won't happen  :(

  8. In our dreams!

We haven't got a cat in h***s chance of that!!!!

  9. Yes. In time they will, if the trend continues.

Consumer pressure and competition will force it. More and more people shop price today, and if one chain goes down, others will too.

  10. Of course they wont. remember about 30 yrs ago when a late frost killed all the taters off. A bag of spuds went from 50p to 7 quid in a week. They have never come down.

  11. i'll believe it if i see i, although they should do, but...
