More than likely he will not because it is Ok for democrats to be old.  I suspect that he will still be leveling the "old" charge against McCain even if he does pick an old VP.  Its like leveling the "7 homes" charge against McCain while Barak and every other democrat is just as rich and sometimes even richer.

Like when a person at a townhall directly asked him at what age is too old to run... and he said he had many friends in the senate, Senator Kennedy being the one he mentioned, who are doing good work?

When put this specific question, an opportunity to attack McCain, Obama went out of his way to say there are many political figures in their 70's doing good work and who are quite up to the job.

What you say is a baseless, unfounded, smear. He's never said anything about McCain's age on the stump, and he's never mentioned it in an ad.
