Now that Brett Favre has been traded, what do you think of Madden 09 and its cover with Favre?

How do u think EA Sports deals with this since the game hasn't been released yet?

i think they will make a new cover with like a photoshop jersey on favre, it'll probably be like 2 dollars to buy the new cover after madden has been released on Aug 12th

I hope that the Madden Curse holds true and Brett suffers a career ending injury, then realized he should've never came back and/or played for any other team besides the Packers.

Other than that, I think the cover should stay the same as a tribute to a great quarterback and an amazing career...

I actually think the Madden curse will be broken this year. The cover has brett favre in a Packers uniform and Brett Favre has gone 16 seasons without an injury. If he does get hurt this year though it would definitely mean that the Madden curse is true.

Well, it's possible that they photograph Brett Farve in a New York Jets jersey, but that probably won't happen.  The release date of the game will be delayed.  (If that's the case).

This honor was given to Favre due to his imminent retirement; but it has been revealed that Favre has been traded to the New York Jets and will not be retiring. EA will not release a new cover with Favre in a Jets uniform."

I believe the streak of games started by Brett will end this year.  You should believe in the Madden curse.
