  1. Have you ever been in the military? If not, I don't think you should call someone a coward if there looking at risking there lives for something they don't believe in.

  2. Vive Mexico then

  3. Frankly this condittion that you Leftists place on every issue that if one has no personal experience with the subject matter he/she is not permitted to comment is typical of Fascists tactics. You are simply attempting to shut down the discussion and shield your pet causes from any and all criticism.

While I dont believe it is at all relevant to the discussion, I was in the military. I'm a former Royal Marine who has never served in combat. I would have been happy to do so however.

It is cowardice to flee the call of duty and cowards should be treated accordingly. When you enlist you do so with the full understanding that you will be called upon at any time to do the job you are beign trained to do. Can a firefighter refuse to go into a burning building because afterall he only applied for the job for the benefits? Can a police officer refuse to respond to a "man with a gun" call? Drop the political tactics and face the issue headon. People who flee are cowards.

  4. I will have to agree with Greg.

Many th ings can change from he time you enlist to the time you get called for active duty.  Being a newly wed and having a baby on the way may change the way you look at your military obligation.

Unless you have been there, you cannot comment.  The military is comprised of people who are willing to die for us.  That is a profound statement and a scary one.  Some cannot come to terms with it after enlisting especially if they don

't believe in what they may be dying for.

Many of the deserters still being deported are actually draft dodgers from vietnam, these are not men who volunteered, rather had their birthday pulled from a lotto.
