Jeff Hardy or somebody else will get a huge push to replace Cena as far WWE having a stand out star to appeal to the key demographics that WWE needs to hold onto ? Last year when Cena was injured it was clearly Jeff Hardy that was next in line for that demo push until his drug issue.

Your thoughts ?

  1. Now that cena is out they can have some mid carders push. Also some high-card wrestler from injuries are returning

Rey mysterio-gonna be push hardly after losing momentum much after injury and maybe replace cena since his merchandises are good and kids love him

Orton-returning from injury and maybe a top heel

Jericho-maybe after his feud with hbk he will maybe run for wwe champion once again

  2. Hopefully it is Jeff Hardy

  3. John Cena - He could be so much better than he is at the minute, at the minute he comes out and does the nearly same thing every week and the marine gimmick is going stale now. Everyone is begging WWE to turn him back into the doctor of thuganomics/rapping gimmick because it suits him better and he got more of a crowd reaction than he does now. It appealed to a more mature fanbase, now this marine gimmick is attracting the majority of 12 year olds and under, whereas his previous even attracted the likes of 16 year olds.

John Cena is really nice outside of wrestling, cares for his fans and acts as a good role model for them.

Plus he's a face and he gets booed; that's just plain pathetic, the way it is meant to work is that the faces get cheered and the heels get booed. But it's working a whole different way in this situation. Although you can hear a hoard of cheers from the crowd, you can sometimes still slightly even hear the boos, h**l in some cases with Cena you could easily hear the boos, like these events on youtube for instance:

    * John Cena gets booed at ECW

    * John Cena's amazing Hall of Fame 2008 speech

But to keep John Cena's respect intact which he kinda deserves, I have wrote this:

John Cena because he is fun, funny, charismatic, a good brawler and powerhouse and knows how to get a crowd hyped up.

For all John Cena haters I have found a way to debunk all of your comments:

You all say these about John Cena:

    1. His title reign was far too long and he gets too many title shots: Triple H, The Rock and JBL's title reigns went on for ages and I don't hear you complain about them. They also get (Except The Rock) loads of title shots and you seem to leave those superstars out when you criticise Cena. And it isn't like every match he gets is a main event, contender or title match.

    2. His moveset is boring, he has a limited no. of moves and uses the same ones nearly every single match: Hey have you seen the people who use really simple moves like just punches and simple grapples like Mark Henry and Big Daddy V. Their movesets are hardly amusing, at least Cena puts some effort into his moves. Yet you fail to abuse them like you do to Cena. Plus John Cena is sometimes a mid carder with the jbl feud. In addition it is partly the trainers fault regarding Cena's moveset.

    3. His marine gimmick is c**p: Changing his gimmick is good because it gives the fans something new, although his previous gimmick attracted more older fans and I prefer it, the wwe company partly told him how to do his gimmick.

In addition, how can you say that he gets the h**l booed out of him when he has a h**l of a lot of hype going and probably the most merchandise going.

Also his mic skills and charisma are outstanding, after all that is what wwe mostly about! More than wrestling abilty I think!

    I think Cena has:

    -strength

    -charisma

    -technical skill

    -mic skill

    -popularity

    -overall skill

People just want him to turn heel because they think he has been a good guy for far too long and his heel character appeals to older fans whereas his new one mostly appeals to younger fans.

But I still like him as my favourite wrestler, even though I would love it if he changed to his thuganomics gimmick again since I think it was better, more interesting and it appealed to my age more.

But nonetheless, I think he is a fantastic wrestler.

So if WWE reading this; please turn John Cena heel and back into the doctor of thuganomics for the sake of his fanbase, popularity and respect.

    Thank you very much.

And Jeff could have already lived out the ultimate goal in the WWE, but his drug - use hindered his huge push  and that is nobody ele's fault. But now he realises that he made a mistake and he paid for it, and like he said, the fans are now starting to respect him again and put that blip behind themselves for him admitting to his mistakes and repenting them.

  4. I think it will be Rey Mysterio.

Remember, Jeff has just recently come back from suspension and there might still be some people backstage who wouldn't be happy if he was to be pushed all the way again.

Although Rey Mysterio has been injury bound, I see him taking the torch from Cena in the meanwhile. There are other options, such as Batista, but I think they'll give it a go with Mysterio. After all, he looks like he's gonna have a decent feud with Kane and after that, he might be feuding in upper mid-card for a while, so let's just see what happens.

  5. i don't think any body should replace john cena. but i also think jeff hardy does need a better push

  6. i hope they do cause if they dont WWE is gonna be in trouble if we see Batista,Rey,Kane,JBL and CM Punk every week till Fall of next year(Cena due back)...

EDIT: i think this would be a good time to bring in Sid and push him into the main event..

  7. ray  mysterio will step up

  8. Yeah i don't see why  WWE would not go with Jeff Hardy, knowing Jeff Hardy over popular fanbase,  but then again Jeff is on SD,  so he going to have to wait, until Triple feel likes he ready to drop the WWE Championship. and there a chance it could be at unforgiven.  but knowing Triple H i would not count on that. until he feels Jeff is ready, then he will  drop the belt to him

But it could be Shawn Michaels with him, getting one last overdue Title run.   if Shawn is thinking about retirement, then i expect him getting one last title run. then there Rey Mysterio  who has the same fan base as Cena.  so WWE could prossibly give Rey another title shot, but the problem with that is Vince is against putting World Title on small guys,

Still i expect both Shawn Michaels and Rey Mysterio replaceing Cena on Raw, that way the ratings will not drop as much with Rey aim  towards the kids. and Shawn being aim towards the other age groups

  9. is he injured again?

  10. i think it is rey mysterio's turn

  11. I agree with evebaby or also maybe Batista.

  12. i would love it to be jeff he is definitely one of the most loved superstars by the fans all you have to do is listen to the reception he gets, i no he has made mistakes but imagine how frustrating it must be for him being there as long as he has been and guys like cena come along and just get everything . . i would love to see jeff as the champ. i live in ireland and if jeff became champ i would def go see raw live !!
