They lost their captain, and now Demitra. So pretty much the only player the Wild have left is Gaborik...How will they do next season?

  1. They had better pick up Jason Williams!!!!!

  2. They'll have to fight for a playoff spot I think, but they have a good system so it's quite possible they could turn a few heads as they so often do. Also, they have a great defense core with Bergeron, Burns, and Johnsson and have great goaltending with Backstrom. I think they have a very similar team to the Canadiens in terms of having a lot of mid-level talent players and not so many superstars. it could lend to having excellent chemistry.

However, if they're the worst team in the league though, they get a good shot at John Tavares.  Being bad this year might be the best thing that can happen to a team.

  3. The Western Conference is going to be tough. I can see the Wild finishing 12th or 13th.

Expect St. Louis and Vancouver to be in the playoffs this year (or at least expect a heck of a run). I suspect Colorado will finish worse than they did and will probably be in this playoff chase. Chicago will be there but I think they fall short

Teams that will make it (in no order)

    Detroit

    San Jose

    Anaheim

    Calgary

    probably Dallas

probably St. Louis (depends on their "youth movement plan")

    probably Vancouver

    probably Colorado

  4. all i know that the bruins are gunna mess with their balls big time!

  5. 8th in the West.

  6. I can't imagine they are going to be too great but they do have a very very good coach in Lemaire so I'm sure he will be able to cook something up decently.....

i see them having a hard time getting in the playoffs though

  7. I don't think they will do as well as they have done in years past, but with Lemaire behind the bench, anything is possible.
