  1. What do you mean, global warming has stopped?  It's growing stronger!

  2. Up here in Canada we could use a little more global warming in the winter.  But we also want some global cooling in the summer.  It gets 'way too hot around here.

I think a 50/50 split is the way to go. Maybe Al Gore is working on it at this very moment!!

  3. Global Warming?  Global Cooling?  Can't you hear the Global Crying?

  4. Bill Clinton is going to try and win a Nobel Peace Prize by helping out Global Cooling.

  5. People will always cry like chicken little, you know the story. "The sky is falling, the sky is falling". The planet will do what it wants. The sun will go through cycles of heating & cooling.

In the middle ages if was cooler than now, we have been in a warming trends. Temperature goes up & down all the time. We as humans have NO affect on the planet, other than polution. I remember fears of nuclear winter in th 60's. Now everyone is preaching global warming. What ever happens, happens. Recycle, because it makes sense & saves money. Conserve energy because it saves money. Don't polute, because we need  clean air & water. But remember, as long as we have weather, there will be bad weather, it's a packaged deal. We get the good with the bad.

Independant research is our best friend. Don't jump on the band wagon of the "global warming" crowd.

For those who call us names and refuse to research it on their own, like them drink the Kool-aid & be ignorant all on their own in their own little imaginary world.

Denial of other opinions will be make you right!

  6. Forecast of snow here in Michigan on tuesday, maybe GW didn't get the memo.

  7. As soon as idiots will believe it and TIME magazine tells us it is happening.

  8. When I was in the 6th grade GLOBAL COOLING was the big threat. Then it was global warming, now its "climate change", which seems to be a nice broad term that can include any weather anomaly.

The climate has changed drastically over a period of time. We have had Ice ages etc...noone can dispute that. The weather (short term) also changes dramatically. The fact is that the global temperatures have plateaud since 1998.

A point worth looking into is, in that time frame we have been losing sun spots! There are currently NO sunspots(Spaceweather.com). (sun spot cycles last 11 years, while the solar magnetic cycle lasts 22), and it will be my guess that this summer (2008) will be recorded as a cool one based on this fact.

For some reason, the alarmist love to discount that big nuclear reactor in the sky as having much of an effect on our weather patterns or climate.

  9. Quite some time, since scientists KNOW that global warming hasn't stopped.  Proof, not just my words.

discussed in detail, with confirmation, at:

Calling scientists ignorant isn't credible.  EVERY major scientific organization says global warming is real, and mostly caused by us.  The following have issued official statements on that:

The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

  10. Global Warming has not stopped.  The deniers and skeptics have been mewling and puking about Global cooling since midwinter.

  11. Global Cooling in the 70s was NOT the issue.

    Seven scientific papers predicted cooling.

The lead scientist recanted three years later, saying he had underestimated the amount of CO2 in the atomosphere.

At the same time there were 42 scientific papers predicting global warming - AGW

But the popular mass media got a hold of the cooling story and publicized it.  That's why skeptics need to learn not to look to the popular press for their information.  It rarely reflects the views of real climate scientists and  certainly not the vast majority who support the IPCC findings.

    And your scientific sources are?

  12. That's awesome. You know that no matter what happens, they will be crying about it!
