Now that Manny and his antics are gone from the Red Sox....?

Question

(I am a Red Sox fan and i will move on: not grieving over the loss of Manny to another team and ready to watch Jason Bay take over in the OF.).....

There is no Green Monster at Dodger Stadium...that means no disappearing during pitching changes and phone calls......lol

Questions:

How does Manny fit in the outfield with the Dodgers? Pierre,Kemp,Jones and Ethier? plus himself?

Will The aquisition of manny Make the Dodgers a fave for the NL West?

Manny is going to need to buy himself a GPS to find his way through the spacious outfield at Chavez Ravine.  He's easily the worst outfielder of the bunch but you can't NOT have him in the lineup becuase of his lethal bat.  If they put Kemp in front of him, look for his numbers to jump much like Ortiz's did.  

Manny could make the Dodgers the favorite but his fielding could lose as many games as his bat can win them.

Hmm...the only thing I have to say is THANK GOD we no longer have Manny. I was done with him and it'll be interesting to see what Terry does for the lineup and what Bay does in LF. He'll do better running than Manny...lol.

I don't really know how the Dodgers will do now that Manny is with them. I think they needed power, and Manny will give them that power.

Being a Pirates fan i am very frustrated with the teams two moves this deadline. Jason Bay was a fan favorite. He will put up numbers in Boston. He is a great clubhouse guy and he is never in trouble.

I am not even a Red Sox follower and i was getting sick of "Manny being "Manny". I am glad they got rid of him and stopped taking his stuff. It takes balls to trade away a very good baseball player like that.

Three Cheers for the Pirates and a 16th straight losing season!

I'm glad manny is gone and all I have to say to Dodger's fans is Good Luck. Maybe not right away but eventually you WILL need it!

I'm happy for Jason Bay to finally get a chance to play on a competitive team. I think he'll bring a lot fewer distractions to the team and the clubhouse.

Dodgers outfield: Manny moves to the top of the list and takes over in left field. The Dodgers didn't make the trade so they could platoon him.

NL West: I think it's a draw between the Dodgers and the D-backs now. It should make for a very interesting race even though between two teams hovering around .500. IF the Dodgers make the playoffs, it could be a huge factor though. A hot Manny can carry a team.

I guess Joe Torre can sit some outfielders especially Jones and Dodgers getting Manny does make them favorites because the Dbacks and the other teams didnt budge at the deadline.

edit: Torre should consider sitting Jones the rest of the season...lol
