Question:

Now that Manny is in the NL??

and they don't use the DH do you think this will affect his batting stats?? since if he has the day off and can't bat as a DH will his numbers go down?? i guess the dodgers prob won't be giving him the day off very often but in the AL if he's got an injury and can't play the field but can bat his numbers will have to be better in the AL right?

  1. I agree with JACK. I don't think that it will effect his OBP, which I think is the most important factor. If he has Jeff Kent hitting behind him, then there's no reason why the LA Dodgers shouldn't be playing him every night.

    Mark my words, Manny is going to be the new BONDS of the NL. Every pitcher is going to walk him which means Russel Martin and Jeff Kent are going to get better pitches to  hit at.

  2. It might affect home runs and rbi's but it won't affect his average, or obp. Which I think are the most important ones.
