The rants from male and female commentators were almost laughable in the popular press, but wondering what they would say about your average Joe Public from Macclesfield (or nearby posher Prestbury) - or in fact anywhere else in the UK who would take part in games with either ´retributional nuns´ - with Rosaries and whips, or a disciplinarian schoolmistress, with canes and Shakespeare books, half open? If they were so scornful, why do they have pages of s*x ads. selling the same thing, close to the sports pages (but of course). Disgusted, envious - or just plain hypocritical?

  1. They were out to sell newspapers, what else?

Envious of his money and his being able to indulge his fantasies.

The greatest pity is that his wife had no idea about the prostitutes, nor did his close family.

  2. actually i couldn't give a d**n about him and his stupid games, but i feel terribly sorry for his wife and family, they must feel totally humiliated. If he was my husband, the next  time he saw me would be in court, petitioning for a divorce

  3. envious of an old pervert who has disgraced himself and his family

i hope his poor wife gets tested for std's , i would say the same about any old pervert famous or not

  4. It sells papers so the hypocrisy is name of the game.

How many of us reading News of the Screws or The People  think, "Wow How the h**l did he/she getaway with that for so long. The lucky blighter. "

No I was not shocked and I have no wish to join in. I'm sure worse things happen but I have no idea what.
