PAUL SPADAFORA 40-0-1 went to jail for shooting his girlfreind in a gas station parkinglot, he was mayweather biggest threat in his early career and avoided him. but now i think if paul won a couple of good fights mayweather should give his oldest and biggest rival a shot! but paul has to shake the ring rust off first! what do you guys think?

  2. Paul Spadafora will be lucky if he gets a title shot, let alone a fight with Floyd Mayweather.  I don't see him as much of a threat to Mayweather, and to be honest with you, I don't think he was much of a threat back then, either.  Spadafora is also no where near a big enough name to lure Floyd into a fight with (Floyd is only interested in fights that pay in the millions at this stage of his career).  I would like to see Spadafora at least get a few wins, and then see if he can get a title shot, and then lets see where he goes from there.

  3. I hope for Paul's sake he gets a shot at Mayweather, it would be good to see something go Paul's way in life, he has had more than his fair share of troubles and it would be nice to see something go well for him.  I don't think Paul has a lot left, but his record will work in his favor.  The problem would be Mayweather, odds are good Floyd won't take the fight, he has so many other options.  It is possible, if Floyd continues to fight he could take Spadafora as a tune up for Cotto or another big name fighter, but at this stage, Paul would be a huge underdog.  It would be the Cinderella story of the decade if Spadafora could some how get a fight with Mayweather and beat Floyd, the proverbial 100 to 1 shot.  I would like to see the fight happen, if for no other reason than to put Paul back on his feet, it was sad seeing all the personal trouble he had, I hope it's all behind him now and wish him the best.
