  1. Sure. Georgia is a staunch ally of the U.S. And the United States would be wrong not to come to the aid of an ally who is under attack from a communist country. Russia has it's own ideas regarding Georgia, and once they have a strong military presence in Georgia, they are not going to leave anytime soon. Just like they did when they fought Germany, and stayed to create East Germany. Which did eventually fall, but not after many, many years later. I say we stand up and come to the aid of our ally, Georgia, while their is still time.

  2. Nope, and if you read more into the news you will find out that Russia had a right to do what it did. There are many Russian citizens in Georgia, and they have proof of separatist forces, and militant groups trying to take over Georgia. The Government of Georgia is so corrupt that they are not doing anything about it to stop it. They also have proof the these Militant Groups are committing ethnic cleansing .

Russia did not want it to get any worse than it already is , and didn't want they're citizens to be in any more danger. So they are using force to stop the Militant Groups since the Georgian Government obviously will not do it.

I say Kudos to Russia for doing the right thing. It isn't like Russia is trying to take over the country. They just want to take out the Separatist Forces.

  3. If we butt in yes.

  4. There is a growing US and European Union influence in Georgia, notably through the Train and Equip military assistance programme. However, this will should not effect the US that much.

Georgians does not want their country to be the platform for US-Russian rivalry but Russia has an impression that Georgia will get assistance from US, if needed, which may not be true in all aspects.

  5. I'm worried about this one.

  6. yes we have an allie that's still loyal to us and it makes me sick to think we could lose a friend when we have so few

  7. The South Will Rise!.

  8. Oh Yea this will affect america and its long term desires to protect  BIG OIL the reason that georgia is soooo important is that Afghanistan is loaded with oil reserves and other raw materials. If you know your geograpy you will be suprized to note that georgia is right beside Afganistan and also borders turkey and the caspian sea (the United States are attempting to establish a pipeline from Afganistan into the existing pipeline in turkey so as to extract this black gold) but they need a puppet government in both georgia and afgnistan in order to carry this plan out now in comes russia scuttling this grand plan it depends on how much the US is willing to invest in this venture

  9. It will not involve the US, but I'm disappointed in NATO for not adding Georgia as a member and preventing this needless Russian aggression.

  10. Its a non issue for America.

  11. They Did? Heck i just drove thru Alanta 5 days ago, well Now, we still have 49 or 50 States left, lets all unite and go kick some commie butt. Dang, will this make the peach cost rise? this is like one of them 911 thingys isnt it?

  12. NO WAY. US ARMY IS STUCK ABOVE HEAD IN **** OF IRAQ & AFGHAN, THEY WON"T COME TO GEORGIA.
