Now that SIRIUS and XM have merged, when can I get MLB on my SIRIUS receiver?

Nothing's been announced yet, but I'm sure it will be a long time.  There is not enough bandwidth to support all the MLB games on Sirius.  Especially since NFL and MLB seasons overlap in late summer/early fall.  It's possible you will be able to get the 24-hour MLB talk channel on Sirius, but not the play-by-play of every game.  There's also a chance that you could get play-by-play of a few of the more popular teams as selected by Sirius.  To get these you would have to pay the extra $4 per month to upgrade subscription plans.

    If you'd want play-by-play of every game of every team, you'll have to buy an XM radio with an XM subscription.
