Now that Sirius and XM are merging what happens to lifetime subscibers to either one? Do we lose it?

Sirius and Xm are merging so if you are a liftetime subscriber to either one will it merge over also or will we lose the money we paid for the lifetime subscription?

They aren't anywhere close to merging, one guy says he would approve it but its just him they all have to get together and decide to do this it could be a while. Sorry.

A merger has not been approved.  Plus there has been conflicting statements made by the satellite companies and they have been very careful not to make commitments on several issues.

So I think you are up in the air until something definitive happens on the merger.

Even if they merge the whole thing could be out of business somewhere in the future anyway, based on my analysis of their financials and business plans along with future competition from wireless internet and other new technologies.
