He's a competitor, and he'll win or wreck it trying. It'd be a fitting end for what has been a good relationship.

I don't know about that.  I think the pressure of wanting to leave and how to say it or do it is now gone, pressure is off.   I think he can relax a bit now and get back to racing.  I think he will make the Chase and yes win races.  May as well go out with a bang.

I think it is a matter of focus.  If Tony can keep his focus on this year then I think he will make the chase; but not win the championship.  If he tries to split his focus between this year and getting ready for next year he will s***w up both.

Tonys a racer at heart. He'll do his part to try for any win he can get. I do agree with you on the chase though.
