...where do you get your fix of real philosophy? I like to go to the Experimental Philosophy forum.

We all need a little humor now an' then. It's rather a harsh remark...but genuine as well to deem participants as pompous an' depressing. Of course philosophy also has an incomprehensible tool to provoke thought. If anything, we are all here to dazzle or be dazzled by the genius or folly of our minds.

Relish in the gesture....an' think this a court of fools an' jesters.

If you are lucky, you may encounter a sophist...oh! what such romance.

I think you are mistaken.

If philosophy is the quest for Truth then there is no question that can not be asked. Outside of the gamers (and even some of them have excellent answers) there are a lot of serious people here, young and old. I have never gone through a day without being fascinated by at least five questions. Of course, if you KNOW everything then you won't need to explore here . . . .. or to help those who are looking for their own answers.

Thanks bud, for the wake up call... we are all so pompous and depressing in this 'philosophy' section, that I am going back to calling Ronaldo names, and jumping to the US page for some comic relief from Obama and Bush.

However, I do use google to find books and cd's and such. But I prefer to actually interact with live subjects, like humans.
