The ability to play both with the pioneet player would have been the best way to go. But with the announcement that all HD DVD players production has been halted and movie makers now stopping production on all HD DVD discs, it is kind of not needed to have both of the drives in one player.

  1. Pioneer Elite Player, ROCKS!!!!

  2. Not until the price of Blu-Ray players comes down and they get more than 500 or so movies on Blu-Ray...

  3. I will.

  4. When I can use component video for the highest resolutions.

  5. No, not with HD downloads still on the rise. Unless you like to collect the disc and store them on your shelf to look at, HD downloads is the way I will go for awhile. Comcast has On Demand and now Direct TV has a HD on demand. I'm in no rush for another player to occupy space on my entertainment rack.

  6. Not for a long time.

  7. I am format neutral so this wont have much effect, i just hope that we see all the release soon starting with Transformers...

  8. I see a PS3 in my future.
