It's nice to see the price of gas is down about 25¢ in the last few weeks. I know a big part of the reason is Americans are using less gas. But as the prices start to fall, I can't help wondering if people will just say they can now afford to drive their SUV or go back to whatever bad habits they had.

I drive so little that I didn't really need to make any change as prices went up, so I don't see where I would have reason to change my habits now that gas is getting cheaper.

  1. I do not think that they will change there habits once the price of oil goes down.

  2. I really don't care as I pay

    .08 per gallon

Thats right I said .08 per gallon

I found the info on YouTube by searching

"pay 1940 prices for gas impossible"

I was skeptical too BUT I bought it as it was only $10.00 at that time

    It works

You should try it -- and NOT SAY

this can't be on the level

    IT IS

  3. It really hasn't gone down all that much.

  4. hopefully, yes.

  5. I paid $3.82 this morning (TN). My habits never did really change much though. And I have no problems with people owning SUV's if they can afford them.....more power to them.

  6. I will, if no one else does. Not that I'm all green or anything weird like that, I just like to have my money working for me not for some corporation.

I have been 'saving gas' for over 4 years now. My fuel milage has gone from 23-24 MPG to 29-30 MPG. same vehicle.

Having gone throught the Peanut Carter years I learned a few things about fuel savings.
