Now that global warming has ended, what's to be done about global cooling?

will this be blamed on carbon dioxide emissions too? it's a fact, global cooling has started. all the ice that melted and had everyone so concerned has reappeared.

Global warming, global cooling, climate change, whatever they decide to call it, has always been another fear tactic used by people who want to put more power in the hands of government.  It's as simple as that.

More specifically, yes they will blame global warming (or cooling, or climate change, or whatever) on C02 emissions.  Back in the 70's we were all going to die because of global cooling, the next ice age was coming because of C02 emissions.  Now just a year ago we were all going to burn up because of global warming caused by C02 emissions.   If you go back in history, the hype has been going on for over a century.

The whole "global warming" idea started, oddly enough, almost as a backfire on Margaret Thatcher:

"Thatcher commissioned the first committee to study global warming caused by CO2 to create political support for nuclear power. With her involvement, the United Nations set up the IPCC, The International Project on Climate Change. That commission was the first international political organization that complied with will of the politicians and blamed global warming on CO2 gas.

Sadly, the IPCC reports had a very unfortunate set of unforeseen consequences. Instead of creating demand for nuclear power, it created a basis of political revolution against capitalism, development and industrialization. What Thatcher had intended to accomplish with deceit and lies backfired on her and created the opposite result.

That early IPCC report created a new political involvement of environmentalists and anti globalists who seized upon opportunity to promote defeat of capitalism and promote Marxist Communism objectives."

I would suggest massive industrialization and mandatory minimum limits on CO2 from our power plants.  CO2 has such a wonderful moderating effect on the temperature.  I think I will make a T-shirt! "GOT CO2"

It wouldn't matter if the ice caps were flowing down NYC Central Park, the believers would STILL claim global warming was real.

This summer is going to be both colder and wetter than any summer in the last 12 years.

It's NOT 'global warming' anymore.  Where have you been?  The _proper_ term is 'climate change'.  Now THAT term will cover any circumstance as it comes along and enable the fearmongers to advance their global taxation agenda.

Global cooling is so 1970's.  Remember?  The coming ice age was going to freeze us all in our tracks in the '80s?
