i used to be very thin ok looking and outgoing

now that i am fat i don't go out with my friends or boyfriend.

i pretty much just go to work and stay at home

I'm afraid that they are embarrassed to be seen with the "fat girl"

I'm working in my weight but how can i build confidence in the meantime?

I miss going out and having fun but whenever i try i feel like everyone is disgusted with my looks.

  1. Perhaps joining a Toastmasters Group might help.

With more confidence and better presentation skills you will be more successful, relaxed and happy in the world.

  2. y did u gain weight?

  3. go out and have fun. dont let how you look hold you back. if they are your real friend theres no way they will be embarassed to be seen with you, thats why they are your FRIENDS!! they love you for who you are. and dont worry no one will be discusted with your looks, there are people out there who are bigger than you and most of them dont care what people think about them thats what makes them enjoy life so much.

  4. Guess what...most people think others are looking at something about them and thinking mean things.

If they are, they must be unhappy people.

How many people are perfectly beautiful by anyone's standards? None, probably, because standards of beauty are different.

In high school I wasted three hours trying to straighten my hair so I could look more like the British girls (I'm mixed race). The second moisture touched it it sprang back up and I vowed never to waste my time on such pursuits again. If you need to lose weight for your health you should do so, but there's no point in changing your appearance to make other people happy. Losing game.

  5. People should like you for who you are not how you look.

  6. Part of your negative attitude may be because you eat badly, and possibly don't do enough strenuous exercise.

Make a goal that you'll never settle again to be the fat girl, start eating better and doing more exercise, building up your fitness gradually.

When you start making these changes, you will automatically become better 'looking' as you say, as good eating habits and exercise results in clear skin, toned body, etc etc.

Drink loads of water, this helps flush out toxins in your body.

You will build confidence over time, confidence is a skill you cannot just acquire, you have to learn it! gooood luck !

  7. Hi,

I used to be pretty obese and started putting on a lot of weight especially on my thighs and bottom in my late thirties. I really wanted to do something about it and I started exercising as often as possible and also cut down on a lot of high calorie stuff. Unfortunately I hardly managed to lose any weight at all. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed that she managed to lose nearly half of her weight using a particular weight loss product. I tried it out and it actually worked really well. Within 4 months I managed to shave off 65 pounds completely. The results were pretty amazing and I feel so much healthier and energetic now without having to carry all that extra weight around. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below

  8. Sorry to hear that. I used to be fat then really skinny, now I think I'm in a good place but I don't want to gain.

You could wear a corset it will gradually bring in your waist and put more fat on your hips and b*****s. It will also help you to eat less and smaller more frequent meals that will boost your metabolism.

This is hard to do but you can convince your self that you're beautiful, just act like your beautiful and maybe you'll fool yourself.

  9. If you stay home all day, you'll be more overweight. Go out & have fun, forget about the image =].
