Now that it's August, will all the French leave the country now for holiday?

No.  They don't leave the country.  They leave Paris and head down South...anywhere with a beach.

That's not true.  Most people I know are still working in August (including myself).

The weird thing about Yahoo answers in this category is the all the top contributors are Americans living in the U.S.  Not sure how that is supposed to qualify them but it certainly doesn't stop them from spewing out all sorts of out-of-date answers (including yourself).
