Now that mccabe is gone, who will be the next alternate captain?

if sundin retire or sign somewhere else who will be the next leaf captain?

Sundin's latest talking point is that he won't do anything until the season starts, so he's not an option.  McCabe is out as well.

Frankly, the captaincy is the least of my concerns; they could give Carlton (that mascot/bear) the "C" for all I care.  

They could either go to a rotating system (what Buffalo did), or just have three Alternates.

What is not known is what guy(s) are leaders in the room (and who is and isn't looked up to).
