Biden is far, far from being an Elitist.  He is much closer to the common person, certainly, than pampered McCain.

Delaware would likely have gone to Obama, anyway, and, as you note, it is relatively unimportant.  However, Biden does have the "experience" everyone claimed Obaba lacks.

I think he should have picked Sam Nunn or Bloomberg, though.

Yep and it wouldn't have mattered. Biden said it his self. Delaware is a slave state. They feel entitled to welfare.
