Now that the Angels have signed Teixeira........?

Now that the Angels have added Teixeira to their lineup do you think any of the other contending AL teams will sign Barry Bonds?

I really can't see any team that would do that. Maybe the Sox if they trade away Manny, but trading Manny won't happen either.

he can't play in the NL because he can't field anymore.

the only AL contender team that seemed like a possibilty was the yankees, but now with the xavier nady trade they have johnny damon as their DH.

I don't think anyone will take Barry Bonds. He comes with a huge amount of media and a huge ego. Only an AL team could take him and use him as DH, because his fielding ability is gone. His salary is nothing though. He said he just wants the minimum salary (390,000), and he will donate all of that to buy tickets for kids to come into the stadium. Still nobody is biting though.

Barry has diminished skills on offense, little to know defensive skills....and huge media contingent and an incredible salary demand...I think no one wants him and his issues

the angles havent signed Texiera, they tradedfor him.  He only has 1 year left on the contract and can leave the Angels after this year.

I doubt that any team, AL or NL, will sign Bonds this year. They don't want to deal with all the controversy surrounding him, and I don't blame them. Barry cheated and ruined the integrity of baseball.
