  1. i do

  2. Since the early 1990s departure of  Pirates, Bonds and Bonillla, it is clear to me that a "blue collar" town cannot compete in baseball on an economic basis.  Because football is a weekend sport, the Steelers can compete.   So I think your hockey payroll question, Hossa, is a close call.

  3. why would they need hossa when they have crosby malkin malone and skorya  they relised they can do it without him  i can see him going to NJ bc there the only team without a top 25 foward pens arent going to pay him millions

  4. me

  5. after making it to the finals, he'll be in.

  6. I'm not sold......

  7. We'll have to wait and see, although I'm not too happy that the Pens made Hossa their #1 priority. Retaining Malkin should be a top priority for the Pens right now. After they work out a deal with him, they should move on to Fleury, then Staal. If anything is left, then they should see if they can work it out with Hossa, and then look at Orpik, Malone, and finally role players like Ruutu and Laraque.

  8. I don't know. I could see them keeping him for the simple fact that he did what they wanted him to do - take them to the cup. not saying that HE HIMSELF took the pens, but he sure helped.. so they could make a deal with him he can't pass up.

  9. the Pens have had/will have Hossa for a while. he will take the deal because he knows that we were so close this past season and next season will be better once we get some new guys including the one with the baby Pens(  i think his last name starts with a G).
