I know you can’t smoke tobacco in-doors or out-doors so what are you meant to do? Can you still buy readymade spliffs and where would you smoke it if it has tobacco in it? By the way I know there are some coffee shops that let you smoke in there IF they have a separate bit for their staff. I want to go soon and never been before, where would be a good hotel that I can smoke in that is quite cheap and not far from coffee shops? Lol a lot of questions. Thanx

  1. Just smoke without tobacco and you'll be fine. Pure blunts are not banned. There are coffeeshops everywhere in Amsterdam, so finding one close to your hotel won't be difficult. Most hotels should allow smoking in the rooms, but check with the hotel first. If your out at a park or somewhere in the city away from all the people you could spark up an not offend anyone.

I'm sure there will be places that do not enforce the new law, but there are also inspectors dropping in without notice and after the first fine the next is pretty hefty.

If you do make it to Amsterdam, do get out and enjoy the city for all it has to offer. It's beautiful, steeped in history and there are lots of things to do and see so get out and enjoy!
