I think he still should be considered a candidate, so what he cheated? Plenty of us guys cheat and it's still a horrible thing to do but hey almost every politician or anybody in the political world has been tempted. His personal life shouldn't be an issue only that he can be a good politician.

Assuming this was ever an option of course. So what, he had an affair. Who hasn't. It's not a public issue.

He was never a serious consideration for Obama.  Edwards had his chance four years ago and added nothing to the ticket.

Well, as a lot people seem to think, so what?  Don't most men and politicians cheat?  Well, the so what is that he repeatedly lied about it, over and over.  So, that is the greatest consideration for me - he lied.  He is a smart and poweful lawyer who thought he could pull it off and deceive the American public; and all after what happened during the Clinton years.  He needs to blend into the background and never show his face in politics ever again.
