Will we see London buying up container ships full of goods on the cheap that we can use in our Olympics in 2012.

After all a lot of the items will be made in China so why not buy them now at a discount and save them till the next Olympics in London?

  1. Don't jump the fence to early Beijing still have the Paralympics that always in the same city as Olympic since 2000.

And then there the winter Olympic and Paralympics in Canada

  2. Well i hope not but with our government and Boris Johnson. I would not be surprised if a deal had not already been struck! by them. The only one i will feel sorry for is Sebastian Coe and his committee when the government and Boris s***w it all up as usual.

  3. That's to much like a good idea for the British olympic committee, they will find a way to waste much more money!

  4. Great idea ! ...perhaps you could get a place on the olympic committee with thinking like that ...

  5. Maybe if they're reusable goods, but I wouldn't expect to see anything recognizable from China.

  6. It depends on the policy of China..it has to look after its economy afterall..

  7. Funnily enough I thought the same thing when I read it - that if I was the buyer for products I would be over there like a rat up a drainpipe bidding for all sorts of things - under an assumed name of course - that can be used in 2012.

Does anyone know if they are going to use the Millenium Dome as the Velodrome in 2012 - seems the perfect venue to me.

  8. Good idea!!!

    All made in China!
