freeze to death? This makes me wonder why people always seem to question Gods intent for us.Each time we have proof of one disaster ,all of a sudden we have proof of something completly differant.Kind of like the weather channel. They are very good at telling us what it's doing outside right now,but when it comes to three days from now they are a joke.Wake up people,,,it either is or it ain't?What do you think of this new evidence?

  1. Global warming means that the average global temperature of the atmosphere is rising.  I believe this is well documented and generally accepted by the scientific community.  This rise in temperature is not drastic but incremental.  It's also not uniform.  A few degrees warmer in one location can mean a couple degrees cooler in another.  As the ice caps melt fresh water is released into the oceans which disrupts the currents that carry warm water from the equator to the poles and cold water from the poles to the equator.  This phenomenon is what will bring on the next ice age.  It might help to think of it as part of the Earth's immune system.  Humans are the virus.  Global warming will be the hot and cold, fever and chills that the Earth goes through to rid itself of us.  When the ice caps melt, the Earth's reflectivity of sunlight goes down and the Earth absorbs more heat.  When the next ice age starts the Earth will become more reflective again and cool down.  You want predictability in this process?  Easy, just look in the history books for the last time there were nearly 7 billion people on the planet cranking out carbon.  BTW it's not God's intent that I would question so much as it is his existence (especially in a form that any human could begin to comprehend).

  2. No, the Earth and humans are going to be just fine.  God doesn't have anything to do with it either.

Not that there isn't likely to be another ice age sometime in the next 5,000 to 20,000 years.  But, hey, humans survived the last ice with little technology to speak of.

  3. Not in your lifetime

  4. Actually I think we are coming out of a mini Ice Age so the warming is natural from what I read from scientists not getting paid to say it is man made global warming.

I like the History Channel also especially when they took apart all of the theories about 911 being an inside job but I do not like their stance on Global Warming they believe in it and several shows do not show both sides just the pro side so I guess it depends on your own views.

I am in Tn and it is warm but not unusual it happens in December, January and even Feb where we get some warm weeks but hey we are near the ocean and the norther current can bring in warm air sometimes that cause tornado's.

  5. I think I'm going to freeze to death just trying to decipher what you people are writing. Ever hear of spell check, or didn't god invent that yet?

  6. dont worry about it. you are gonna die any way in any time. Enjoy your life responsible and dont polute your environment.

  7. The last super climate this world saw was an ice age.  This is usually followed by a tropical age in which we are in the transition right now.  Each year, the earth gets one inch closer to the sun and over thousands of years it's naturally going to get hotter.  there's nothing anyone can do about it but think up new ideas to keep cool when it gets here.  You must admit, it will be a great time for solar energy usage.

  8. Ice Age?

    But global warming is new

Guess it is a weather pattern as anyone with a brain has said all along.

  9. I'm con fussed and I hope me and my kids die before it becomes a reality

OK have fun and buy a heavy coat and some shorts

  10. meteorologist have been honing their craft, for decades.
