  1. Yes, now the hardened criminals can educate the next generation.

    All 29,000 of them!

  2. You mean the figures have been fiddled ?  Heavens to Betsy !

  3. We have reached a strange position with UK prisoner numbers.

Nobody in parliament, or in the police forces of the the UK, seriously disputes the official crime figures. They are down under this government. That's a fact. Almost all types of crime are down. But yet the with fewer crimes the prison population has soared. Clearly we are sending some of the wrong type of offenders to prison, and for too long.

Someone who dodged the telly licence or certain financial offences should not be inside.

The thing is, there has always been crime and there always will be. But there is less of it now than there was under the Tories!

  4. Tommy boy!

Good to see ya, how's yer book?

The picture says it all doesn't it?

Why do I have this vision of Jack and John Reid both sitting in the corner of the clasroom, day after day. with a dunce hat on.

Now, let's not be too hasty to judge Jack- the crims all promised to be very good or otherwise he'll send them a strongly-worded letter that mum and dad must sign and a nasty SMS.

  5. Under new labour it means that crime does pay!

  6. Just rhetoric! That is all these Labour politicians ever do!Talk!Nothing else!!

  7. Crime definitely pays under any government in the UK for the last 60 years and if it you think it's bad now......lol you haven't seen nothing yet.

  8. Lol.

Sentencing has become a joke anyway, we criminalise people for 'silly' behaviour which occurs due to a complete lack of respect and set free really dangerous rapists, muggers, paedophiles and terrorists because we have no idea how to contain the problems created by a 'tolerant' society.

We would all enjoy the extra freedoms (or could do if given the chance) a democracy offers unfortunately we have no real grasp of the consequences and the downsides.

So many can only see capital punishment as a necessary evil, yet that would mean more power over the lives of innocent people in the hands of incompetent MP's and civil servants who can't even control an electronic filing system with 'losing' and mishandling confidential information.

Imagine capital punishment in place with this lot? How scarry it would be to even have the same initials let alone similar name as murderer or rapist.

  9. Not forgetting their "Whiter than white" comments back in 1997.
