Obama or McCain?

AND FOR WHAT REASONS???

Is it just me, or are this year's elections playhouses, or performances more alike a circus-display of a competition, than true efforts toward the the better running and repairing of our country.

I really don't think this country can afford to play with matches anymore...for whatever reason.

I think I'm beginning to smell something like Ancient Rome starting to burn...of course I could just have a very sensitive olfactory sense...so, how is yours reacting???

Thanks!

  1. Obama.  Not only because he is a better candidate but because the republicans need to be completely wiped out so maybe some real republicans can take the party back over.

  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_vaH2BjV...

  3. Obama/Biden is my choice ticket.

McCain/Palin are in the pocket's of the oil corporations.

And, I honestly DON'T think that this is a circus display.  I think there are very real issues at stake that involve the economic and fundamental future of this country and the future of the middle class.  I really don't think people in this country understand the real economic times that lay ahead of us.  I don't think people read much and rely too much on Fox pundits or radio pundits than read the information out there and what economists and professionals are saying about this.

Obama has a vision.  The Republicans are lost and have no vision for the future of this country in this competitive world we now live in. The GOP only runs on fear.  And, they've done a very lousy job running this country.  GWB=McCain.

Real change including getting out of Iraq and bringing the troops home.  McCain want's us in Iraq for another 100 years.  Obama supports the troops while McCain gives them nothing but lip service while he pulls the plug on their benefits and health benefits.

Real economic change and ending of oil subsidies and investing in alternative energies and getting people back to work in green collar jobs.

Obama and Biden are Pro-Choice and pro-science.  McCain and Palin are very very anti-choice and want to force creationism down our kids throats in school.

Obama is clearly pro-education and wants to fix our healthcare system.  McCain wants to privatize education and healthcare which will ruin both.

Obama and Biden are for getting off foreign oil, McCain isnt'

Obama and Biden believe in saving Soc. Security and McCain is for privatizing it which would be great for wall street brokers but really bad for the working person and working families.

There is much more but there is a clear choice between the two.  I'm choosing the more future oriented one and that is clearly Obama.

GREENE:  Obama was responsible for getting thousands of people off welfare in his district and working in real jobs.  maybe it is YOU who should THINK.

  4. Obama.  I like his policies on healthcare and fresh ideas for investing in Mathematics and Science and I like Biden's foreign policies.

  5. McCain because he's not Obama.

  6. As I am British it is beyond me ..

Therefore I cannot offer a valid opinion on the subject of American politicians..I struggle enough with ours.

  7. Obama

    Reason Biden

  8. Obama for his comprehensive energy plan; his stance on pulling out of Iraq, letting the Iraqis deal with their own country, and hunting down the people who actually perpetrated 9/11; and his plans to revitalize the economy and cut the taxes of 95% of americans.

  9. McCain

    BIG government control = BAD

    llittle government control = GOOD

Welfare programs CREATE laziness for the most part.  what would be the point in working if the government can give it all to us?  Then how would we get the tax money to pay for all these 'democrat created' programs without people who have the money to pay the taxes for them in the first place?  if taxes are set to high, people won't have the incentives to work hard and make a lot of money to create new jobs and pay taxes.  THINK!!!

  10. I am securely voting Green, the Oil w***e And Biden are just the icing on the cake of bad choices.

  11. I don't know who if I'll vote for Obama or stay home but I am most definitely NOT voting for Mccain. I am heavily annoyed about the whole situation right now.

First I'll say that I like Palin. She seems pretty genuine and 'nice'. A normal person. She's accomplished some good things as gov I see.

    Secondly,

    LOL

I don't think I've ever seen the Republicans backpedal faster.

I've seen so much spin in the past few hours it's ridiculous.

They're too busy throwing up 'strawmen' and other false arguments,  'How can the democrats dismiss Palin as inexperienced when Obama is inexperienced?  Aren't you dismissing your own candidate in dismissing Palin...?'

These ppl know what this is about.

They know darn good and well that the issue being raised by the Dems and public have nothing to do with experience alone.

McCain is a hyprocrite. Plain and simple.

And Palin wouldn't be such an issue if Mccain hadn't made such a big deal over  'inexperience in the first place. '. I think it's fitting. All of this 'experience talk' is drama of their (mccain, repub, supporters) own making.

h**l--the sun couldn't set in peace without Mccain and the rest of the republicans going on an on about Obama being unsuitable because of his 'lack of experience'.  Inexperience was his ammo against Obama..

Take Obama out of the equation for a second. This the issue (to me):

       1. If Mccain believed that inexperience was irrelevant then what in the h**l was he talking about?  Does he remember?  I guess even Mccain can't swallow a mile of his own bullsh*t for prolonged periods of time--even if he wanted too. Personally I think the man is going senile.

       2. If Mccain believes that experience makes the better candidate....why in the h**l did he pick an 'inexperienced'  VP?   He couldn't find a more 'qualified' minority?

Could've sworn it was Mccain who stated that a 'one-term senator wasn't ready to be President'.   Yes...but he picks this person?

And if He dies in office what does he think she will be?

This man picked Palin because she is a woman. She practically stated this when she was announced. Putting herself out there as a substitute for Hillary supporters. They're all desperate.  I mean seriously--like the 'good old boy' network would even glance upon a woman as their  option if they didn't HAVE to. Please....

Now I see that some republicans have high-jacked the 'change' , 'change we can believe in' mantra. Patting themselves on the backs like they've developed the coolest things since sliced bread. ...and right around the anniversary of the "I Have a Dream' speech they attempt to overshadow an important triumph with a 'first' of their own.  SMH

I should have known those gotdamned Republicans would do anything to steal Obama's thunder.

Mccain is doing whatever he can in order to win. I get competition but this is shameless. He doesn't care about this country.

...and why would he pick an 'inexperienced' VP when (based on his words) he *automatically* doesn't believe that person capable enough his d**n self ....specifically BECAUSE of their 'inexperience'?

That says a LOT about him.

It's just sickening. I'll be glad when the political season is over.
