Now with this being the coldest winter in the last 50 years in?

some parts of the USA and all four major global weather stations reporting colder then normal temperatures this winter along with Bagdad having snow for the first time in recorded history, what do you have to say about the so called "global warming", fiction that Al Gore wrote.

Keeping in mind that the Antarctic has had record ice and snow fall and build up this winter.

Some of you want scientists to prove or disprove AGW. The trouble is that science has proved that humans use of fossil fuels for over 200 years has caused global warming ,and the resulting climate changes. I don't really see the 'deniers' actually understanding the scientific studies.  They seem to have already made up their minds about it.  All of the wierd weather world wide is exactly what has been predicted to happen with global warming. The extreme cold and severe winter storms are a result of the jet stream being changed in its flow.  It now dips farther to the south,bringing Arctic cold air with it.  The ever widening parameters of weather records are the clear signs of rapid climate change!  If you have a real scientific understanding of how the Earths climate works,the effects of climate change are easily noticed.

You are really funny!    Since when has listening to a weather station ever given you the correct information?   I remember them saying it was raining while I was sitting on a beach soaking up the rays.   Silly sheeple.

Well it is a warmer than average winter here in Austin.

I have this to say about global warming.

It is called GLOBAL warming and not "four major global weather stations plus Bagdad" warming for a reason.  You need to average all readings from all of the thousands of weather stations all over the world, plus sea water temperature, and then average that over a period of years, and if that running average shows an upward trend lasting 100 years or more, then you have global warming. If you think one cold winter or a few local places having cold weather disproves global warming you are being as naive as people who claim the one hot summer or a couple hot locations prove it. It is not nearly so simple or obvious.

Local effects don't really alter much, Melbourne Aust should be about 20-25c this time of year it hit 40c today (104F) and the forcast for the rest of the week is mid to high 30c's.

Todays temp was a ten year record.
