I have seem so much complaints about female nurses nowaday. Not the public experienced it, my family members experienced their bad manerism. They have a very bad attitude which people keep on complaints. I thought nurses are very holy, helps the patients, and contribute good to the society. Now, I have a negative feeling on them. What made the female nurses to have a very bad attitude?

Actually, I want to take up nursing diploma in NTU, now, I give up.

Below are the related forum about the lousy female nurses for your reference and proof:

  1. If you thought nurses were holy then it is no wonder that you have a negative feeling about them. Nurses have always been human beings, not holy saints; thus you have held a false belief and at some point your misconception about nurses was challenged consequently you are blaming nurses for not holding up to your unrealistic expectations. If you had viewed nurses as human beings rather than holy saints you would not be feeling disappointed. Perhaps you should start seeing nurses as humans and realize that they have limits.

  2. PS. Please don’t complain about the shortage of nurses because I did not go to University to be treated like a slave. There are plenty of sick people who need nurses, but those who expect us to wash their dirty laundry etc, drive us out of the INDUSTRY. Until we are treated like professionals nursing will always remain an INDUSTRY.

  3. I was reported by a patient’s granddaughter for stating that we can’t do the patients laundry, the granddaughter said she did not like my attitude and claimed I acted as if the task was beneath me. This relative then said that I am not fit to be a nurse. My employer then expected me to go into work on my day off to answer to this complaint even though they know that we do not wash patients’ clothes. Consequently I have quit my job because I refuse to put up with this abuse.
