Japan’s experienced young player Nozomi Okuhara delivered a spectacular performance on court as she knocked out Indonesia’s Hanna Ramadini in Women’s Singles match at the Badminton Youth Under 19 Mixed Team Championships in Korea, on Sunday, July 1.

Nozomi played to her maximum potential in the court and emerged as the winner in an authoritative manner in straight games by taking just 30 minutes in the court.
Hanna, on the other hand, was confused in the court as she failed to live up to expectations and also failed to match the pace of rallies throughout the battle. She remained quivering in the court and lost the match in straight sets without showing her class.

After the one-minute break, the Indonesian lady tried her best to earn points by executing smashes but failed to find gaps.

In the following game, Hanna displayed her spirited skills this time in opening rallies as she played with precision and remained close to her rival this time until the mid-game interval.
After the break, the young Japanese geared up her speed and started to play attacking badminton which helped her to take a small lead.
Nozomi capitalised the lead by maintaining the pace of rallies at the highest level and took the second game with a comfortable difference of 21-15.
The in-form Nozomi easily wrapped up victory while beating her Indonesian opponent with a superb margin of 21-9 and 21-15.
